“Over the past few years, our original retail pharmacy space in Parkway Center in West Plains has quickly reached the need to expand for our community,” Katie Mahan, Director of Ozarks Healthcare’s Pharmacy, said. “Our wonderful community partners from Bradford Pharmacy happened to be searching for change as we were looking for spaces to grow our services. We are so appreciative of their commitment to ensuring our community has access to quality pharmacy care through this transition of ownership.”
The previously named Bradford Pharmacy, located at 307 N. Kentucky Ave. in West Plains, has already transitioned to the Ozarks Healthcare Pharmacy entity and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Ozarks Healthcare recently hired pharmacist Scott Mahan as manager of this location.
Scott is a native of the West Plains area and graduated with a Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Scott has worked at pharmacies in the area for several years, including the Burton Creek Pharmacy for over 18 years.
“I’m truly excited to join Ozarks Healthcare during this exciting time of growth,” Mahan said. “Quality pharmacy care is a part of the entire healthcare experience for our patients, and each of our pharmacy locations are working hard and growing every day to provide timely prescriptions, vaccines, and over-the-counter medications with the highest level of compassion.”
