Ozarks Healthcare Behavioral Health Center introduces Social Skills Group for Children Ages 8-12

Ozarks Healthcare's Behavioral Health Center (BHC) is excited to announce the launch of a new six-week Social Skills Group for children ages 8-12, starting March 14 and ending April 18. This weekly class, held every Thursday at 4 p.m. at Ozarks Healthcare's BHC located at #23 Parkway Center, 1211 Porter Wagoner Blvd., aims to enhance children's social abilities through fun and engaging activities.

The Social Skills Group provides a supportive environment where kids can develop essential skills such as conflict resolution, empathy, friendship building, and social etiquette. Led by experienced professionals, the sessions are designed to foster positive interactions and empower children to navigate social situations with confidence.

To ensure personalized attention and tailored guidance, participants are required to undergo an intake assessment before joining the group. Parents and guardians interested in enrolling their children or seeking additional information are encouraged to call 417-257-6762.
