Ozarks Healthcare contributes to Successful Local Holiday Assistance Program

Ozarks Healthcare (OZH) proudly announced their participation in the Greater West Plains Area Christmas Assistance Program, a collaborative effort with Ozark Action, Inc., which has concluded successfully for the 2023 holiday season.

According to correspondence from Ozark Action, Inc., applications were processed for 173 households, benefiting 450 children up to the age of 14. Through the collective efforts of Ozarks Healthcare and the generosity of local businesses, individuals, churches, and organizations, all eligible applicants received much-needed assistance.

Multiple Ozarks Healthcare hospital and clinic departments were among those who adopted families and purchased gifts for children and parents of all ages. Staff also decorated themed Christmas trees to share with families.

The staff and providers at Ozarks Healthcare Family Medicine and West Plains Walk-in Clinic also came together to donate 72 bags full of food for children through Ozark Action, Inc.

Officials from OZH give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed through monetary donations and donated items, making a significant impact on the lives of those in need.
