Ozarks Healthcare Welcomes 2024 New Year Baby into the World

Ozarks Healthcare recently announced the arrival of the first baby born in 2024 at its Women’s Center, Waylon Cooper.

Born on January 2 at 3:30 a.m., Waylon measured 22 inches and seven pounds, bringing boundless joy to his proud parents, Braylen Thompson and Andrew Cooper. Waylon was delivered by Dr. Jeffrey Roylance from Burton Creek Rural Clinic.

The Cooper family experienced exceptional care from Ozarks Healthcare’s dedicated team, ensuring a smooth and memorable birthing experience. To celebrate this special occasion, Ozarks Healthcare Women’s Center staff presented Waylon and his family with a heartwarming care package, including a wagon filled with a plethora of baby essentials and goodies.

"We were thrilled to welcome Waylon into the world,” Kate Renfrow, Ozarks Healthcare Women’s Center Manager, said. “Our dedicated team is honored to have played a part in this joyous moment for Waylon and his precious family.”
