Dr. Jordan Lane joins Ozarks Healthcare Dermatology
Ozarks Healthcare is pleased to announce that Jordan Lane, DO, will be joining its Dermatology team. Lane brings a wealth of clinical experience, advanced training, and research expertise that will enhance dermatologic care for patients across the region.
Lane recently completed his dermatology residency through the NRMC Still OPTI program at Cleaver Dermatology in Kirksville, Missouri. His extensive background in healthcare began with his Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Nursing from Arkansas State University, followed by a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from the New York Institute of Technology at Arkansas State College of Osteopathic Medicine.
“We are excited to welcome Dr. Lane to Ozarks Healthcare Dermatology,” Jacob Petrus, Vice President of Physician Services and Operations at Ozarks Healthcare, said. “His combination of clinical experience, academic achievement, and dedication to research will help us continue to meet the growing dermatologic needs of our region with compassion and expertise.”
Prior to pursuing dermatology, Lane served as a critical care registered nurse at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. In addition to his clinical training, Lane has contributed to the field through published research in reputable journals such as the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology and Cureus.
Lane's commitment to advancing dermatologic care is further demonstrated through his role as a sub-investigator in multiple phase III clinical research trials, focused on developing innovative treatments for skin conditions.
"Growing up in a small town in southeast Missouri, I saw firsthand the need for more healthcare providers in rural areas," Lane said. "My goal has always been to return to a community like the one I was raised in and provide specialized care where it's needed most. Ozarks Healthcare is a perfect fit for me and my family. Everyone has been incredibly welcoming, and I’m excited to become part of this community and make a meaningful impact."
Lane is particularly passionate about treating skin cancer and performing surgical procedures, as well as managing chronic skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema, and hidradenitis suppurativa.
"Dermatology allows me to treat a wide range of patients, from infants to older adults, and make a real difference in their lives," Lane added. "I enjoy getting to know each patient on a personal level and working with them to improve not only their skin health but their overall quality of life."
Lane will be seeing patients at Ozarks Healthcare Dermatology, where he looks forward to providing comprehensive skin care, including the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of dermatologic conditions.
