Ozarks Healthcare is proud to announce that Jennifer Rhoads, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) at Ozarks Healthcare Women's Health, has earned her Menopause Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Prescriber Certification. Rhoads completed specialized training through the Heather Hirsch Academy, joining a select group of trained clinicians equipped to provide expert care for women navigating menopause.
Women’s Hormone Therapy Specialists from the Heather Hirsch Academy are uniquely trained by one of the nation’s leading experts in FDA-approved hormone therapy management for perimenopause and menopause, Dr. Heather Hirsch.
The Heather Hirsch Academy trains clinicians in the latest evidence-based approaches to menopause management, including hormone replacement therapy, lifestyle interventions, and individualized patient care. With this certification, Rhoads is specially qualified to guide women through the complex physical and emotional changes of menopause, helping them achieve improved health, well-being, and quality of life.
“Expanding access to hormone replacement therapy empowers women in our community to feel their best as well as improving overall wellness-while strengthening our service line with compassionate evidence-based care,” Megan Thompson, Ozarks Healthcare Director of Clinics, said.
Recipients of this certification have been educated to interpret clinical trial findings, skillfully discuss the benefits and risks of hormone therapy compared to non-hormonal or over-the-counter options, and understand the impact and potential risks faced by women with persistent untreated symptoms.
