Ozarks Healthcare Behavioral Health Center to Host Free Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) 40-Hour Training
The Ozarks Healthcare Behavioral Health Center is proud to announce the launch of its upcoming Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) 40-Hour Training, designed to strengthen mental health crisis response across the region. The training is free and open to law enforcement, first responders, mental health professionals, courts, and community stakeholders who are committed to improving care for individuals in crisis.
This comprehensive 40-hour training equips participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed for effective crisis intervention.
Training Dates:
Training #1: October 22, October 29, November 5, November 12, November 19 (2025)
Training #2: January 9, January 16, January 23, January 30, February 6 (2026)
Training #3: March 2, March 9, March 16, March 23, March 30 (2026)
Time: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
All classes will be held at the West Plains Civic Center located at 110 St. Louis St. All training materials, lunch, snacks, and drinks each day will be provided. A certificate of completion (must attend all 5 days of one training series) will be awarded to each participant.
