Ozarks Healthcare hosting “Go the Extra Yard” Blood Drive with Chiefs-Themed Giveaways
Ozarks Healthcare will host a Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) blood drive offering donors the chance to score exclusive Kansas City Chiefs gear and even tickets to a Chiefs game on Friday, October 24, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Willard Hunter Classroom in Parkway Center, 1211 Porter Wagoner Blvd. in West Plains.
All successful donors will receive a limited-edition Chiefs T-shirt (while supplies last) and be entered into a drawing to win two tickets to the Chiefs vs. Chargers game on December 14, 2025, complete with a parking pass. The total prize package is valued at $585.
Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged to help minimize wait times. To schedule your donation, call 417-227-5006 or visit https://donor.cbco.org./.
Every seven minutes, someone in the Ozarks needs blood. The CBCO is the sole provider of blood, platelets, and plasma to more than 40 hospitals across southwest Missouri, northwest Arkansas, and southeast Kansas. A single donation can help save up to three lives.
To ensure a smooth donation experience: drink plenty of water or juice before donating, eat a well-balanced meal two to three hours prior, and bring a photo ID — required for all donors.
Join Ozarks Healthcare and the CBCO to make a lifesaving impact while celebrating your Chiefs spirit.
