Ozarks Healthcare Neurologist to present on Stroke Awareness at Upcoming Community Education Dinner

In recognition of Stroke Awareness Month, Ozarks Healthcare will host a free Community Education Dinner featuring Dr. Clara Applegate, neurologist at Ozarks Healthcare Neurology. The event will be held on Thursday, May 29, at 6 p.m. in the Willard Hunter Classroom at the Ozarks Healthcare Parkway Center, located at 1211 Porter Wagoner Blvd. in West Plains.

Dr. Applegate will lead an educational discussion focused on understanding the signs and symptoms of stroke, risk factors, and how early treatment can save lives. Community members will have the opportunity to learn more about prevention strategies and available neurological services at Ozarks Healthcare.

Stroke is a leading cause of serious long-term disability, but it’s also highly treatable - especially when recognized early.

The event is free to attend and open to the public. A complimentary dinner will be provided.

Space is limited. To reserve your spot, please call 417-257-6735.
