Ozarks Healthcare Welcomes Joetta Luna, FNP, to Ozarks Healthcare Family Care

Ozarks Healthcare is pleased to welcome Joetta Luna, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), to its Family Care clinic.

Originally from Dora, Missouri, Luna brings a deep connection to the Ozarks and a lifelong passion for caring for others to her new role. She began her healthcare journey as a nurse’s aide right out of high school before earning her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification from the Southern Missouri Technical Institute and her Bachelor of Science (RN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Chamberlain University in Addison, Illinois.

With a background that includes years of experience in home health and emergency medicine, Luna now provides a full range of family medicine services at Ozarks Healthcare Family Care in West Plains. Her care includes both acute and chronic conditions, such as diabetes and hypertension management, women’s health, wellness visits, and minor procedures including joint injections, cyst removals, and suturing.

“I’ve always known I wanted to go into healthcare,” Luna said. “Even as a child, I was drawn to caring for others. I love family medicine because of the variety. Every day is different, and I get to care for patients of all ages.”

Luna shared that joining Ozarks Healthcare felt like a natural fit.

“Ozarks Healthcare Family Care is a great group and closer to home for me, so I was excited to join the opportunity.”

When she’s not caring for patients, Luna enjoys life on her family’s farm with her husband, their four children, and their cattle.

Located at 1307 Porter Wagoner Blvd., Ozarks Healthcare Family Care offers comprehensive care for patients of all ages, with a focus on prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management.
