Ozarks Healthcare’s Dr. Priscilla Frase Named to Becker’s “100+ Women in Health IT to Know” List

Ozarks Healthcare is proud to announce that Dr. Priscilla A. Frase, Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) and Interim Director of Information Technology, has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2025 “100+ Women in Health IT to Know” list.

Recognized nationally for her visionary leadership and impact, Frase is a driving force behind Ozarks Healthcare’s clinical and IT transformation. In her dual roles, she has led the integration of all specialties, including behavioral health, into a unified electronic health record (EHR), significantly improving clinical efficiency and provider satisfaction across the rural health system.

Under her guidance, Ozarks Healthcare received the prestigious 2024 KLAS Arch Collaborative “EHR Breakthrough Award,” with top-tier scores in EHR support and training. Frase’s strategic leadership has also helped the system become a certified community behavioral health clinic and expand services through the launch of a crisis stabilization center.

“Dr. Frase’s ability to connect technology with compassionate, efficient care has elevated every aspect of our system,” Lacey Carter, Chief Operating Officer at Ozarks Healthcare, said. “Her work is not only improving patient outcomes and access - it’s making life better for our providers, too. She is truly deserving of this national recognition.”

In addition to her work at Ozarks Healthcare, Frase was nationally honored as the 2024 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) “Changemaker” and College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) “Innovator of the Year.” She is a sought-after speaker and contributor across leading health IT platforms.

Becker’s Hospital Review’s annual “Women in Health IT to Know” list honors female leaders who are leveraging technology to drive meaningful change in healthcare.
