Ozarks Healthcare Welcomes Back Lakynn Bradshaw, FNP, to West Plains Family Medicine

Ozarks Healthcare is pleased to welcome back Lakynn Bradshaw, board-certified family nurse practitioner, (FNP-BC), to its West Plains Family Medicine team. Bradshaw previously worked at Ozarks Healthcare and is returning to the organization to continue providing care to patients throughout the region.

Bradshaw’s interest in healthcare began at an early age, growing up in a family with a long history of nursing and healthcare careers. She earned her Associate of Science in Nursing at Baptist Health College in Little Rock, Arkansas, before completing her Bachelor of Science (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) through Chamberlain University in Addison, Illinois.

Her experience includes caring for patients across a wide range of ages and backgrounds, including work in pediatrics, nursing, and family medicine. During her previous time at Ozarks Healthcare, Bradshaw also provided care through the organization’s walk-in services, where she developed a love for the variety that comes with caring for patients of all ages.

“I really enjoy family medicine because you get to follow people’s lives for years,” Bradshaw said. “You’re not only taking care of their medical issues, but you’re also building relationships with them and being there for them through different stages of their lives.”

Bradshaw said she was drawn back to Ozarks Healthcare because of the organization’s strong sense of community and supportive work environment.

“I think it is the home feeling,” she said. “The staff and management here have always been great to me. It’s very family-oriented, and that’s important to me. Coming back has really felt like a breath of fresh air.”

Bradshaw places a strong emphasis on building meaningful relationships with her patients and believes that compassionate communication is an essential part of providing quality care.

“I think the number one priority is being there for your patient,” she said. “It matters how you make them feel. When you have that relationship with a patient, they trust you and they keep coming back.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Lakynn back to Ozarks Healthcare,” Aimee Jarrett, Ozarks Healthcare Vice President of Ambulatory Services, said. “She has a genuine passion for caring for patients and building meaningful relationships with the people she serves. Her familiarity with our organization and our community, combined with the experience she has gained since her first time with us, makes her a wonderful addition to our Family Medicine team. We’re excited to have her back home.”

Bradshaw is now seeing patients through Ozarks Healthcare West Plains Family Medicine and looks forward to reconnecting with former patients while building relationships with new ones.
