When the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation launched the Inside Track Career Pathways Program in 2023, its mission was simple but powerful: to connect students - both traditional and non-traditional - to the education, training, and opportunities they need to succeed in healthcare careers right here in south-central Missouri.

Ozarks Healthcare has earned the prestigious Primary Heart Attack Center (PHAC) from the Joint Commission and Primary Stroke Center (PSC) Certifications from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), recognizing the health system’s commitment to providing life-saving, high-quality, timely, and evidence-based care for patients experiencing heart attacks and strokes.

The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation invites the community to take part in its annual “Lights of Life” program, a beloved tradition that honors and celebrates loved ones throughout the holiday season. Lights may be purchased in memory or in celebration for $10, with all proceeds supporting vital programs and services throughout Ozarks Healthcare.

As food insecurity continues to impact families throughout our region, Ozarks Healthcare is proud to partner with Ozark Action, Inc. to support a community-wide food drive this month.

Licensed in Missouri and Alabama, West brings extensive experience in obstetrics, gynecology, and comprehensive women’s healthcare to the community.
