Rheumatologist

Position Overview
Ozarks Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Rheumatologist to join our growing medical team in West Plains, Missouri. This physician will diagnose and treat patients with rheumatic diseases, autoimmune conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders while providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage rheumatologic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, osteoporosis, and other autoimmune disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans including medication management and infusion therapies
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
• Educate patients on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with all regulatory and quality standards
• Participate in hospital and clinic quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
• Board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship
• Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
• Strong communication, collaboration, and patient-care skills
